ZAMYN-UUD SOUM CONNECTED TO CENTER OF DORNOGOBI AIMAG BY PAVED ROAD

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Zamyn-Uud soum has got connected to the center of Dornogobi aimag by a paved road. The 116-km road from Sainshand to this soum is a part of the construction of Choir--Sainshand--Zamyn-Uud direction. This road project received 67.7 million USD from a"Regional Auto Road Development" project, signed between our Government and the Asian Development Bank, and plus 78.1milion USD from the Millenium Challenge Account Mongolia. This year, the construction of 1,824 km auto roads and of some 900 metres long bridges has been completed. Mongolia has now auto roads of nearly five thous. kilometers. Zamyn-Uud is the most important border checkpoint between Mongolia and China.
