A.BATTSETSEG WINS GOLD MEDAL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A female wrestler of the Darkhan-based "Mega Stars" club A.Battsetseg has won a gold medal in the women’s 58 kg contest at international wrestling tournament named after Dmitry Mindiashvili. In accordance with the amended rule of weight category, approved last December by the International Federation of Associated Wrestling Styles (FILA), the competitions ran last weekend in Krasnoyarsk of Russia with a participation of wrestlers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, Japan, Norway and Finland. Our wrestler defeated Russian Darya Bogdanova in the final contest. She has been followed by the Russians. Her countrywoman B.Zolzaya captured a bronze in the 69 kg contest as well.
