ASIAN GAMES DELEGATION FROM INCHEON VISITS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A delegation led by Mr Kim Hyong-su, a head of the Section of supporting Asian Games at the Incheon city Administration of South Korea and senior member of the Organizing Committee for the 2014 Asian Games has visited Ulaanbaatar city. During the visit, the delegation from Inchoen has met with M.Tumenjargal, the Mongolia’s Vice Minister of Culture, Sport and Tourism; and Mr D.Zagdsuren, the president of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MonNOC), discussing issues of the bilateral cooperation. They presented to the MonNOC football boots, and judo tatamis (mats). Present at this meeting were Kh.Bakhytjan, a department head of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism; Ts.Damdin, the vice president of the MonNOC; and D.Ganbat, the secretary-general of the Mongolian Football Association (MFA). After winning a right of hosting the 17th Asian Games, Inchoen city has co-implemented the “Vision” programme together with the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). This programme aims to support moderate states in sports for winning Olympic medals by providing them with coaches and training facilities and running joint training. The MonNOC has been involved in the “Vision” programme since 2008.
