Mongolian canoe athletes participate in world event

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Representing a newly established the Mongolian Canoe Federation (MCF), B.Dolgoon and G.Tuvshinzaya will participate in the 49th Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) canoe tournament to be held on October 19-20 in Boston, USA. Our athletes will take part in the tournament for the first time and will compete in the mixed team event. For the time being, the athletes are having an intensive training. This year's tournament is expected to attract some 9,000 canoe athletes and over 300 thousand spectators. Since its origin in 1965, the HOCR has welcomed the world's best crew teams to the banks of the Charles River for the ultimate two-day canoeing, the event that has been featured as competition sports in the Summer Olympic Games.
