Mongolians to compete in World Taekwondo Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Athletes of the Mongolia’s national selected team for taekwondo have left for Russia to take part in the 2015 World Taekwondo Championships that kicked off Tuesday in Chelyabinsk city. By the schedule, an international master of sports S.Yanjinlham will fight against a Canadian opponent in the women’s 46 kg division where fighters of 54 countries are competing. A bronze medalist of the 2014 Asian Games M.Tumenbayar will compete in the men’s -54 kg category on May 15, and his first rival will be a Chinese fighter. Other Mongolians will fight in the men’s -58, -63 and -68 divisions. The national team of Mongolia is co-chaired by D.Enkhbat, the president of the Mongolian Taekwondo Federation (MTF); S.Gan-Erdene; and the MTF secretary-general.
