Indonesian Envoy Says Iran's Nuclear Issue Should Be Settled Through Negotiation

Kuala Lumpur, Nov 23, IRNA – Indonesian Permanent Representative to International Atomic Energy Agency ( IAEA) said his country believes that Iran's nuclear issue should be settled through diplomacy and dialogue.
Gusti Agung Wesaka Puja said past successes indicated that basis for a logical talk between Iran, IAEA and international community is developing and that all involved groups should avoid any hit to the basis of the talks.
He stressed that Indonesia considers joint cooperation between Iran and the IAEA as a key solution and the Board of Governors of the agency should takes decisions which all members agree with.
The Indonesian envoy in the IAEA stressed that his country will do its utmost to be able to reach a collective agreement, but principal differences between countries have hindered this goal.
He concluded that Indonesia did not vote against Iran in the resolution, because of viewpoints of the Non-Aligned Movement countries./end
