Salehi: President To Start Latin American Tour Sunday

Tehran, Jan 8, IRNA - Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Saturday that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to begin his four-leg tour of Latin American countries on Sunday. Speaking to IRNA, Salehi said that the tour will take the President to Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and Ecuador. During the visits, President Ahmadinejad is scheduled to exchange views and discuss issues of mutual interests as well as regional and global developments with leaders of the four states. Other issues such as Middle East, North Africa, Europe economic crisis and the US will be on the agenda of the President's agenda, Salehi said. Salehi also called the recent visit of the Turkish foreign minister to Tehran as “fruitful”./end
