Lebanese FM: Sanctions Against Iran Has Nothing For West

Beirut, Jan 8, IRNA – Lebanese Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour said that imposed economic sanctions against Iran have been blessing for Iranians and have had no achievement for the west. Mansour made the remarks in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi here on Saturday evening. Mansour said that due to sanctions, Iranians, by relying on their own power, science and ability, achieved important progress in different fields. The ambassador, for his part, by referring to Iranian success in different scientific and technological areas, said that the west is trying to inflict pressure on Iran but their plots have always been thwarted. /end
