Italian Journalist: US Afraid Of Iran-LatAm Close Ties

Rome, Jan 15, IRNA - - Manager of Italian newspaper “Suchale” Fedrico Dalkortio said on Saturday the US is afraid of close ties between Iran and Latin American countries. He told IRNA, although it is not the first time President Ahmadinejad pays visits to this part of the world but these tours confirm the importance of the Iran-Latin America for both Iran and the US. Dalkortio said exchange of delegations by Iran and each of the Latin American states shows that the countries are no longer backyards for the US, as they are getting close to Europe, Russia, China, India and some other Asian countries like Iran. He said Tehran has extensive cooperation with the countries because Iran is a reliable partner for them while they no longer trust the US. The journalist described the close relationship between Iran and Latin American countries as an end to the world unilateralism imposed by Western countries to the rest of the world./end
