Dy Oil Minister: Europe, Unreliable Partner For Iran

Ahvaz, Khuzestan, Jan 30, IRNA – Managing Director of National Iranian Oil Company Ahmad Qal’ebani said on Sunday Iran oil ban by European Union proves that Europe is not a reliable partner for Iran. He made the remark on the sidelines of the Third Oil, Gas, Tefinery and Petro-chemistry Fair in Ahvaz where he condemned the EU move to impose new sanctions against Iran oil. Qal’ebani said European countries toe US line and have adopted hostile policies against Iran to put more economic pressures on their own people. “These countries by taking such an strange move have in fact imposed more and more expenses on their own nations,“ he said. The deputy oil minister said the new economic developments in the world have led to emergence of new economic poles such as China, India, Japan and South Korea with euro and dollar being expected to be replaced by other currencies./end
