Turkish FM addresses Brazilian ambassadors

ISTANBUL (A.A) - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Saturday addressed Brazilian ambassadors based in capitals in the Middle East and the North Africa on the sidelines of an international conference on mediation in Istanbul.  "Close cooperation between Turkey and Brazil is a great gain for we share democratic principles such as transparency and accountability," Davutoglu said. Davutoglu said Turkey and Brazil proved successful that physical distances between countries did not stop them from forging strong relations, adding that ties between Turkey and Brazil had improved significantly over the past five years.  Davutoglu said he had frequent talks with his Brazilian counterpart over phone to coordinate efforts.
