Turkish hotelier set to launch second hotel in UAE

ISTANBUL (A.A) - February 27, 2012 - Turkish hotel chain Rixos is set to launch a project to build a second hotel in the United Arab Emirates in Ras Al Khaimah, the Turkish hotelier said Monday. Ras Al Khaimah Amir Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qassimi and the Rixos CEO Fettah Tamince are set to sign a protocol on Tuesday for the Rixos Bab Al Bahr, which is planned to open in the first quarter of 2013.  Rixos Bab Al Bahr -- the second of the Rixos chain in UAE after Rixos The Palm Dubai -- is going to be the biggest resort hotel in the UAE over a 150,000 square meters area with 627 rooms and suits, 14 restaurants and bars and with a panoramic view of the Al Marjan Island.
