2 Iranian pilgrims kidnapped in Syria freed: Iranian ambassador

TEHRAN, April 24(MNA) – Two Iranian nationals, who had been kidnapped by Syrian rebels while on pilgrimage in Syria, were released and handed over to the Islamic Republic’s officials, Iranian Ambassador to Ankara Bahman Hosseinpour said. Hosseinpour said that the two Iranians were set free in the southern Turkish province of Hatay through the cooperation of Turkish officials.
