Iran, UN hold talks on Syria

TEHRAN,Oct.3(MNA) – During a meeting in New York on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and the United Nations special representative for the Middle East, Terje Rod-Larsen, held talks on various issues, including the latest developments in Syria. At the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the 67th session of the UN General Assembly, the two sides emphasized the necessity to resolve the Syrian crisis through peaceful and political means.
