Iran-Iraqi Kurdistan To Hold Meeting On Economic Co-op

Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA – Head of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Mines (CCIM) Yahya Al-e-Eshaq said on Sunday that the first official meeting for economic cooperation between Iran and Iraqi Kurdistan will be held in Erbil on November 12. Al-e-Eshaq told a group of economic activists that the four-day meeting is of significance regarding its role in further expanding economic ties and trade balance between the two sides. He said about 120 Iranian economic activists will attend the meeting, which aims to identify and define opportunities for mutual cooperation and prepare suitable conditions for activities of Iranian businesspersons in Iraq. He said it would have many economic impacts on the two sides' ties regarding ongoing conditions prevailing in the region./end
