Salehi: Assad, Legal President Of Syria Until Upcoming Elections

Tehran, March 3, IRNA – Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Saturday that until next elections Bashar al-Assad is the legal president of Syria. Addressing a joint press conference with his Syrian counterpart Walid Mualem on Saturday, Salehi said no one has the right to interfere in Syriaˈs internal affairs. He said the Syrian people decide their president by voting and they are the ones who should say who should be the next president of the country./end
