Some MPs want to hold themselves liable
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ R.Burmaa and Sh.Tuvdendorj MPs submitted Friday to Speaker Z.Enkhbold a draft law on amending the law on parliament and on elections.
The draft says about a withdrawing a person from the Great State Khural (parliament). Its initiators say that it is still unclear, what to do with an elected from the name list member when his or her political party or a coalition, participated in parliamentary election as one body, stops existing by law or whose activity is ceased according to the law on political party, or when he/she voluntarily leaves a membership of a party or coalition upon becoming a MP.
By these reasons, some amendments must be made in the two laws, Burmaa and Tuvdendorj are confident, suggesting withdrawing a person from parliament if his/her party or a coalition is dispersed or whose work is ceased, if he/she leaves a political force, if he/she does not attend the plenary sessions ten and more times without profound reasons/excuses.
