Premier gives report on construction works

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a plenary meeting of the parliamentary session held Friday, the Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag gave a report on the great construction works. According to the report, it is about to put into use a 107 km paved-road in the route between Arvaikheer and Bayankhongor. This road has been constructed with a capital of MNT 45.4 billion in frames of the work of constructing paved-roads connected six aimags. Crossroads of “Sapporo” and “Urgoo” cinema have been repaired and widened within the “Street” project on repairing the crossroads with heavy traffic and constructing highways in Ulaanbaatar city, the Premier said. He added that an 8.5 km road to Khui Doloon Khudag horse race arena has been completed. Moreover, a construction work is running for a 217 km railway from Ukhaakhudag and Gashuunsukhait with a capital of some USD 540.0 million. It is being constructed by over 500 people with some 250 units of road machinery.
