Some 640 thousand people insured

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first half of this year, 641.3 thousand people were insured. 423.4 thousand or 66.0 per cent of them were those from the establishments, and 217.9 thousand or 34.0 per cent from the government budgetary organization. The number of the insured increased by 55.6 thousand or 9.5 per cent, of which the increased by 41.3 thousand or 10.8 per cent from establishments, and increased by 14.3 thousand or 7.0 per cent from government budgetary organization against the previous year. Social welfare pensions and benefits were given to 63.7 thousand people. 9.8 thousand people or 18.2 percent, total amount of the allocated fund increased by MNT 12.8 billion or 50.3 per cent against the previous year. A total of MNT 111.2 billion was distributed to 919.8 thousand children aged below 18 from the Human Development Fund (HDF). A total of 113.7 thousand people have been given MNT 15.2 billion as cash allowance from the HDF. Money of MNT 4.6 billion was given to 4.9 thousand elders and to the disabled.
