“Hours of great constructions" meeting runs

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A new paved road between the city and Bayankhongor aimag was put into use last week, and another road--in Dornogobi aimag--is expected to open this Thursday. The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag Monday heard it at the traditional "Hours of great construction" meeting while receiving reports from Ministers. According to A.Gansukh, the Minister of Road and Transportation, 1,700 km out of 2,100 are projected to be put into use this year. The road repairing in the city will be completed in September 15, he added. However, the repair for some long roads in Songinokhairkhan district will be finished by October 15, a Deputy Mayor of UB city N.Gantomor clarified. After all reports the Premier reminded the Ministers that a great deal of attention must be paid to the quality of the road construction and repairing. "Those who have poorly done this work will be announced to the public," he said. The State Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Agriculture N.Zoljargal reported that more shops and spots to sell fresh vegetables should be added to existing 26 shops in the city. Apart of this, a traditional vegetable fair "Green days of autumn" will be organized by September 15, he added.
