L.Bold FM meets his counterpart of Colombia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Participating in the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold Tuesday met with his counterpart of Colombia Ms Maraa Angela Holguen in New York, USA. The dignitaries exchanged views on developing the Mongolia-Colombia relations and cooperation. Ms Holguen expressed a willingness of her country to collaborate with Mongolia in the agriculture and tourism fields. The Mongolian side pointed out that Mongolia is attaching a great importance to activating the ties and cooperation with Latin American countries, and noted Mongolia has decided to open its Embassy in Brazil in near future. Saying that Mongolia and Colombia are possible to cooperate in the sectors of industry, agriculture and tourism, Mr Bold emphasized that Mongolia is paying great attention to developing the inter-citizen ties with countries. At the end of the meeting, the Foreign Ministers signed an intergovernmental agreement on exempting diplomatic and official passport holders of the countries from the visa requirements.
