Mongolians wins bronze medal at East Asian Games

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mongolian G.Hishigsaihan Tuesday claimed a bronze medal in the women's 800m final at East Asian Games; the third medal won by our track and field team after a "silver" by B.Ser-Od and a "bronze" by N.Monhbayar. She stepped on the finishing line the third with result of 2:16.28, after Chinese and S.Korean runners. Our athletics team with three women and seven men will end the competitions with men's 4x400m relay starting October 9. Mongolia is at the eighth place at the medal ranking with two silver and 10 bronze medals grabbed at athletics, weightlifting, sanshou, shooting and taekwondo events.
