Mongolian diplomat presents governmental policy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Director of the Foreign Department of International Organizations Ms V.Olziibayar has delivered a speech at the 3rd Committee’s plenary meeting of the 68th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, USA. Ms Olziibayar presented the Mongolian government’s position over social development and other related measures. She said a summit on the disabled, which ran September 23 in New York, was important event in terms of protecting interests of the disabled and reflecting related matter in the post-2015 Development Policy. Then she confirmed that the government of Mongolia will pay a special attention to realization of the documents the summit had released. Noting that an improvement of the civil capability is a primary goal of the social development, Ms Olziibayar underlined that all member-states must ensure an equal participation of every person. She also urged all to collaborate in many important measures in frames of the resolutions on Literacy Decade of UN and International Year of Co-operatives, initiated by Mongolia.
