Chairman D.Erdenebat receives Moscow chamber members

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Head of the Mongolia-Russia cooperation business council at the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, D.Erdenebat Thursday received members of Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). Representing MCCI, Mr Yu.Ilyin said they want to cooperate with Mongolia in the energy sector, and presented their proposals that include ongoing construction work of the Shuren power station in our Selenge province and introduction of a new energy-efficient technology to the UB ger districts as a means to reduce air pollution in the city, and requested a support from the governmental organizations to their cooperation. A chairman of the parliamentary faction of the Democratic Party, D.Erdenebat highlighted that the peoples of our countries should not take the blame for the stagnated economic relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Russia, as the traditional friendly relationship between the peoples is still upkept well. "We should reverse this state of affairs, starting from the business sector," he added. After this, Mr Erdenebat was awarded an Honor medal of the Russia-Mongolia Friendship Society. The medal was given by a famous cosmonaut Mr Gorbatko, a head for the Russia-Mongolia Friendship Society.
