Presidents hold officials talks

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Presidents of Mongolia and Republic of Poland Monday held official talks in the State House, Ulaanbaatar.
The Mongolian President Mr Elbegdorj expressed a satisfaction with the working visit of Poland’s President and with widening of the bilateral relations and cooperation.
Poland has a big history of democracy in Europe, "and this served as one of the important factors of developing the friendly ties between people of our countries," Mr Elbegdorj underlined and hoped that this visit will contribute to the relations between state bodies as well as the l economic ties.
In response, Poland’s President Mr Komorowski said he is pleased with his visit to Mongolia and with intensive development of the Mongolia-Poland relations and cooperation.
"I have been accompanied by a large business delegation, and this will also give an impetus to developing of the bilateral pragmatic business ties." he said.
Extending a gratitude to Poland for supporting Mongolia in times of its chairing the Community of Democracies (Cod), Mr Elbegdorj underlined an importance of the relations and cooperation in the economic, defense, education and scientific sectors.
The Polish leader congratulated Mongolia on a successful presidency of the CoD, which strengthened the democracy and delivered the education for democracy around the world, and also on becoming a Participating State of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
Mr Komorowski backed an importance of re-opening the Embassy of Poland in Mongolia.
During the talks, the Polish Deputy PM and Minister of Economy Mr Janusz Piechocinski expressed his position on augmenting the trade turnover between the two countries and developing the collaboration in the mining and geological exploration sectors.
Present at the official talks were L.Bold, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; A.Ganbaatar, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland; D.Gankhuyag, the Minister of Mining; Ts.Enkhtuvshin, the secretary of the National Security Council (NSC); L.Purevsuren, the Advisor to the State Head on security and foreign affairs; and other official from the both sides.
