Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A deputy director of the Foreign Ministry's Department of International Organizations Ms V.Olziibayar has delivered a speech at the Second Committee’s meeting of the United Nations General Assembly session in New York, USA.
This meeting has discussed a comprehensive ten-year review conference of the implementation of the Almaty Programme of Action. Ms Olziibayar noted that a report of the UN Secretary-General reflects vital recommendations for landlocked and developing countries, and hoped that the UN and the international community will realize them successfully.

Ms Olziibayar mentioned that Mongolia’s government has reflected in its basic programme of action for 2012-2016 some goals to be fruitful in in protecting rights of landlocked developing countries in a way of activating the collaboration with the UN and its organizations and agencies. Then she urged countries to join an intergovernmental agreement on the International Think Tank for Landlocked Developing Countries to be established in Mongolia. The Mongolian government has decided to make a financing of USD 350 thousand to the next year’s action of the international Think Tank, she added.
She also said Mongolia is attaching a great importance to a preparation for the upcoming conference of the implementation of the Almaty Programme of Action to run next year.
