Mongolian judokas to compete for gold

Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ Mongolian judo wrestlers G.Kherlen and D.Tomorkhuleg have earned a right to battle at gold medal matches, at the Judo Grand Prix in Qingdao, China. In the men’s 60 kg event, Tashkent Grand Prix bronze medalist G.Kherlen is leading zone A after beating two opponents. He beat Minsk European Open bronze medalist T. Englmaier from Germany Tuesday after winning over Rijeka Grand Prix winner and former European champion B.Mudranov from Russia on the opening day. At his final match on Wednesday, B.Kherlen will fight against S.Korean Choi In-Hyuk, who won Russian A.Galtsyan and Australian L.Paischer in preliminary and semi-final. In the men’s 66 kg event, where Mongolia has been represented by two judokas, D.Tomorkhuleg will battle for a gold medal against A.Gadanov from Russia on Wednesday.
