MICHEL PLATINI: UEFA IS READY TO TRAIN MONGOLIAN COACHES

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag Saturday received Michel Platini, the vice-president of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), who visiting our country by invitation of Mongolia's Football Federation. Pleased to meet with the worldwide respected manager, N.Altankhuyag recalled his childhood memory of football, when he was interested in the sports and heard a lot about Platini, the legendary football player. "Mongolia has been implementing substantial projects in developing football here. As the Prime Minister, I wish the Mongolian children became skilled football players to compete in world arenas," said Mr Altankhuyag. Responding to that, Mr Platini expressed a gratitude to the PM for the meeting and said it was nice to hear the Government leader is willing to develop football. He also noted that UEFA will support football in Mongolia, and that a first step of that might be trainings for the Mongolian coaches.
