PREMIER: OPEN AND SMART GOVERNMENT IS FOR EVERYONE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Friday at parliament, the Premier N.Altanhuyag delivered a presentation regarding his Government's projects to achieve an open and smart governance. The PM focused on the projects by his Government to build governance with no bureaucratic obstruction and corruption. The first project he talked about was forming of a website where all information regarding government activities, programs, and plans from the capital city and province organizations, ministries, agencies can be accessed. Another place that enables a direct connection between the government and the people is "11 11" center, through ten optional channels of which almost 70 thous. people expressed their opinions. The Premier also mentioned a weekly online meeting with ministries, agencies and province administrations, "Reforms and solutions-222", which saves money and time. A similar meeting has twice been held with Mongolian Ambassadors abroad. Another smart service the government has introduced is Government Service E-Machines that have been accessed by 54 thousand people since their coming into service last June, the PM noted. For the time being, these machines have saved some a billion MNT, he added. Then he briefed on further projects of the Government to enhance its services that include online health services, united payment system, smart traffic payment collector, smart postbox and transparent account.
