DRAFT AMENDMENT TO LAW SUBMITTED TO PARLIAMENT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Monday, some MPs, including D.Erdenebat and A.Bakei, presented to the Speaker a draft amendment to the law on regime of parliamentary session. The initiators say that the parliamentary actions are delayed due to parliamentarians' going abroad on appointments, getting ill or even being absent, so they want to create a legal environment for utilizing a device that registers MPs by their finger prints. It will, as they hope, put the parliamentary activities in order and create conditions for MPS of properly fulfilling their duties. In accordance with the amendment, MPs are also allowed to give speeches at sessions or at Standing committees' meetings by the order they get registered on the device.
