AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kingdom of Norway Z.Altai Thursday presented the credentials to His Majesty King Harald V. At the following this ceremony meeting Z.Altai conveyed to His Majesty greetings from Ts.Elbegdorj, the President of Mongolia, and congratulated Norway on the 200th anniversary of Constitution. The Ambassador also noted that political relations and a cooperation between the two countries have been developing fruitfully recently, and expressed a willingness to enrich these ties with trade and economic contents and to cooperate in a development of winter sports in Mongolia. After this meeting Altai met with Mr Olemic Thommessen, the president of the Storting /parliament/. The sides exchanged opinions about inter-parliamentary cooperation. Then he met with officials of the Foreign Affairs Ministry to focus on the relations and to agree on cooperation in introducing fishing-crib and greenhouse farm hi tech to Mongolia. The same day, the Ambassador also met with Norway-based Mongolians.
