FIRST MEETING OF MONGOLIA-THAILAND INTERGOVERNMENTAL COUNCIL TO RUN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ This meeting will take place in Ulaanbaatar on May 27. It will be one of several measures planned to run in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between Mongolia and Thailand. The cabinet meeting on Wednesday approved guidelines to be adhered by the Mongolian representatives at the intergovernmental meeting, and assigned G.Tsogtsaikhan, a chair of the Mongolian group at the Council, to approve the composition of our delegation which will take part in the meeting. As expected, the gathered will share views on issues regarding mutual interests, including Mongolia-Thailand cooperation in economy, trade, investments, mining, food, culture and tourism. The Mongolia-Thailand intergovernmental council was established during a visit of the Prime Minister of Thailand Ms Yingluck Shinawatra to Mongolia in April of 2013.
