Gov't Envisages Less Dependence On Oil Revenues: Economy Minister

Tehran, June 15, IRNA - Minister of Economy and Finance Ali Tayebnia said on Sunday that the government envisaged less dependence on oil revenues. Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the 24th annual conference on government, currency and monetary policy, he noted that the administration of President Hassan Rouhani has planned to decrease the countryˈs dependence on the oil revenues. Tayebnia underlined that achieving sustainable economic growth requires the increase of tax income. Tayebnia declared that the government financial policy calls for investment and would also support the manufacturing units and the private sector.
