Speaker to visit Germany and Poland

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) Z.Enkhbold will pay official visits to the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) March 14-18 and to the Republic of Poland March 18-21.
Mr Enkhbold has been invited by Mr Norbert Lammert, the President of the Bundestag, and by Mr Bogdan Borusewicz, the Marshal of Poland’s Senate.
In Germany, Mr Enkhbold will hold talks with Mr Lammert, will meet Ms Edelgard Bulmahn, a Vice President of the Bundestag. He will receive Mr Markus Ederer, the chairman of the Standing committee on food and agriculture and Secretary of State to the German Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs; Mr Hans-Joachim Fuchtel, the Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development; Mr Ralf Wieland, the president of the Berlin State’s parliament; Mr Stefan Schostok, the Mayor of Hannover city; and Mr Stephan Weil, the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony State. He will also meet authorities of the “Saxenergy Mongolia” company and the Siemens AG; Dr Popp, a professor of the Clinical University of Essen city; and M.Lichius, a coordinator of therapy of Hepatitis C virus at the “AbbVie” company.
The Speaker will witness a meeting of the Bundestag session and visit parliament of Lower Saxony State. Furthermore, he will attend an opening of the “CeBIT” international IT exhibition to be mounted in Hannover and will get au fait with a vehicle factory. He also intends to give a report at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and to hold meetings with students of the Department of Mongol Studies at the Humboldt University of Berlin as well as Mongolian people living in Germany.
In frames of the visit to Poland, the Speaker will hold talks with Mr Bogdan Borusewicz, the Marshal of Poland’s Senate, and Mr Radosław Sikorski, the Marshal of the Sejm (Lower house of parliament). In addition, the Speaker will receive Mr Janusz Piechociński, Poland’s Deputy PM and Minister of Economy, and Mr Grzegorz Schetyna, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. He will meet students and teachers of the Department of Turkic and Middle Asian Studies at the University of Warsaw, and Mongolian people residing in Poland.
The Speaker will also lay wreaths to the Monument to the fallen Shipyard Workers 1970 and leg the Center of European Solidarity after attending an exhibition called “Our solidarity is together with Mongolians”.
A cooperation protocol between the Offices of the legislative bodies will be signed by B.Boldbaatar, the secretary-general of the Parliamentary Office, and by Lech Czapla, the Secretary General of the Sejm.
The visiting group comprises L.Bold MP, a head of the Mongolia-Germany inter-parliamentary group; L.Erdenechimeg MP, a head of the Mongolia-Poland inter-parliamentary group; Ts.Nyamdorj, O.Enkhtuvshin, Z.Bayanselenge MPs; S.Lambaa, a chief advisor to the Speaker; other officials and media.
