Iran's handball team beats Saudi Arabia

TEHRAN, Nov. 23 (MNA) - Iran defeated Saudi Arabia in the 2015 Asian Qualification Tournament on Sunday and made its way to the semifinals. The Iranian team defeated Saudi Arabia 30-24 in the Group B and will play the first team of Group A on Wednesday with Bahrain or South Korea. Iranian handball players have so far won Oman, Uzbekistan and Japan and lost to Qatar. The Asian Men’s Qualification Tournament for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio is underway in Doha, Qatar from 14 to 23 November 2015 where, in total, 12 teams are competing in two groups to qualify directly for the Brazil Olympic Games, which will take place from 5 to 21 August 2016. http://en.mehrnews.com/news/112189/Iran-s-handball-team-beats-Saudi-Arabia
