Public presented books about late Thai King

BANGKOK, November 11 (TNA) - Two books on late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's royal guidances, speechs and rare photos will be presented to the public, free of charges, by the Thai Ministry of Culture as of November 14, 2016, aimed to inspire the public who learn more about the late and beloved Thai monarch's biography and works to follow late His Majesty's guidances in their daily lives. Culture Minister Veera Rojpojanarat told journalists on November 10 that his ministry has been tasked by Thai Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha to publish the two books on late His Majesty's guidances and speeches in remembrance and honour of the late and revered Thai monarch. The minister said the first book, named "King Bhumibol Adulyadej", focuses on late His Majesty's biography and works throughout his 70-year on the throne, along with his rare photographs. The minister revealed that the second book, named "99 Speeches of late HM King Bhumibol", presents the late and revered Thai King's speeches and guidances to the public during various occasions. According to the minister, both books have been published at 100,000 volumes each and they will be given to the public as of November 14 at the National Museum in Bangkok, located near the Grand Palace, while his ministry plans to publish more for the public in the future. Besides, both books will be published as e-books and people can later download them online for free. (TNA)
