Hail Governor Highlights Kingdom’s Support for Sports, Athletes Ahead of Toyota International Rally

Hail, January 23, 2024, SPA -- The Governor of Hail Region and Chairman of the Hail Region Development Authority, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, underlined the Kingdom’s commitment to athletes and various games, including the Hail Toyota International Rally 2024.
Prince Abdulaziz, also Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the rally, expressed gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for their support of sport and athletes.
Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the collaborative efforts of all partners involved in the upcoming rally, recognizing the Minister of Sport and the president of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) for their keenness.
He extended a warm welcome to the international athletes preparing for the 19th edition of the Hail Toyota International Rally, scheduled to commence on February 8. The rally serves as the inaugural event of the FIM Bajas World Cup 2024.
Prince Abdulaziz emphasized that the rally reinforces the Kingdom’s leading role in car racing, showcasing its ability to host and organize the world’s largest car and motorcycle races. He noted that the event enhances the Kingdom’s cultural, historical, and tourism standing through accompanying activities held during the rally.
In this regard, the prince highlighted those accompanying cultural and entertainment activities, programs and competitions for children, which showcase the rich heritage, culture, creativity, and innovation of the region and the country.
Furthermore, Prince Abdulaziz commended the efforts of the security agencies involved in ensuring the safety and security of all participants. He acknowledged the vital role played by the security personnel, with the support of the Kingdom’s leadership and the Minister of Interior.
The prince also lauded the integrated performance of various government agencies and the private sector, both within and outside the Hail region. He underscored the dedication of the rally’s executive management and organizing committee members to achieving high organizational levels.
