France's Contradictory Behavior Is Main Reason Why It Cannot Be Representative of Europe

 Pyongyang, June 5 (KCNA) -- Choe Ju Hyon, an international security analyst of the DPRK, issued the following article "France's contradictory behavior is the main reason why it cannot be a representative of Europe" on June 4:
Shortly ago, French President Macron said at the 22nd Shangri-La Dialogue that NATO would have a hand in Asia unless it prevents the DPRK's intervention in Europe, taking issue with the normal cooperative relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation.
Indeed, it is a paradox just like a guilty party filing the suit first.
Quite contrary to the claim of Macron, the armed forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea did not "intervene" in Europe but participated in the righteous liberation operations to repel the Ukrainian neo-Nazi forces who invaded the territory of the ally under Article 51 of the UN Charter and Article 4 of the DPRK-Russia treaty on comprehensive strategic partnership.
The normal relations of military cooperation between the DPRK and Russia fully coinciding with international law can neither be a subject of criticism in any case nor a pretext for NATO's military interference in the Asia-Pacific region.
Although Macron described the DPRK-Russia relations of military cooperation as a pretext for NATO's interference in Asia, it is a stark historical fact that NATO's military advance into the region had already begun long before the establishment of the DPRK-Russia relations of military cooperation and France is at the forefront of it, and no one can deny this.
France, which initiated the Indo-Pacific strategy for the first time in Europe in 2019, has sent warships and fighter planes to the Korean peninsular and other regions in Asia every year, escalating tension on a steady basis. And this year it even dispatched a carrier task force to the Asia-Pacific region for the first time in nearly 60 years since 1968 and staged powder-reeking joint military drill Pacific Steller 2025 with U.S. and Japan.
Meanwhile, NATO has stretched out its black tentacles to the Asian region for a long time, talking about "inseparable securities of Europe and Asia-Pacific region", and is intensifying its moves to enlist some regional countries kowtowing to the West in its strategy of separating into groups such as regularly inviting the ROK and Japan to the NATO summit and the NATO foreign ministers' meeting since 2022.
Now Asia-Pacific states are keeping a coldhearted watch on France standing in the van of NATO's military advance into the region which is showing the sign of steady increase in its scale and frequency in recent years.
This being the fact, Macron asserted reversed logic, which cannot be interpreted otherwise than he has very poor insight and knowledge about the situation in Asia-Pacific region or he intentionally lied.
It is a mistake if Macron thinks that he can cloak NATO's aggressive and wicked intention to put dirty military shoes on Asia-Pacific region by taking issue with the DPRK-Russia cooperative relations without reason while putting aside all their dangerous military moves.
The French president called on Europe and Asian countries to establish "coalition" not to become victims of U.S.-China rivalry. This is nothing but a selfish hypocrisy to sell its weapons to Asian countries and justify its military advance and expansion of its influence to the region.
The imprudent remarks of the French president fully highlighted once again the fact that he is publicly recognized as a politician who loves to demonstrate his existence by making a series of shocking, claptrap and unrealistic assertions unmindful of consequences to be entailed.
France is obsessed with extreme self-assurance and is unable to properly judge the situation.
The further France and NATO disturb peace and stability in Asia-Pacific region by meddling in the region, the fiercer reaction of the regional countries they will trigger and this will lead to the eroding of their strategic position.
France should realize as early as possible that its contradictory behaviour keeps it from being recognized as a representative of Europe. -0-
