Tabuk Maternity and Children Hospital Receives Baby-Friendly Hospital Accreditation

Tabuk, July 09, 2025, SPA -- Tabuk Health Cluster has announced that the region’s Maternity and Children Hospital has received the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI) accreditation from the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, in recognition of its efforts to implement the initiative’s standards aimed at supporting maternal and child health and promoting breastfeeding practices.
The cluster emphasized that this achievement reflects the hospital’s commitment to delivering the highest levels of healthcare and ensuring a safe, supportive environment for mothers and children, in line with international standards. The hospital successfully met all the initiative’s requirements, contributing to the promotion of breastfeeding culture among mothers and advancing public health objectives.
The Maternity and Children Hospital spans over 113,770 square meters, with more than 270 beds, and is one of the largest specialized healthcare facilities for maternal and child care in Tabuk Region.
