Foreign Minister receives IISS Middle East Executive Director

Manama, July 10 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received the Air Vice-Marshal (Ret.) Martin Sampson, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) – Middle East.

The meeting discussed efforts to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and IISS in organising specialised conferences and strategic forums. 

They also reviewed ongoing preparations for the upcoming Manama Dialogue conference, to be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain in November, and the Institute’s efforts to promote dialogue and the exchange of perspectives on regional and international security and stability, in support of shared objectives.
