Saudi Delegation Participates at 2025 International Internal Auditors Conference in Toronto

Toronto, July 14, 2025, SPA -- The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) International Conference 2025 kicks off today in Toronto, Canada, with the Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors participating as the Diamond Sponsor, led by its Chairman and President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Alangari. The delegation includes over 170 Saudi professionals and four keynote speakers.
The conference, which gathers more than 5,000 internal auditors from around the globe, features 76 speakers covering seven core topics focused on advancing internal audit practices. Highlights include discussions on global transformations in internal auditing, particularly the role of artificial intelligence, regulatory trends, and enhancing auditing in the public sector.
Saudi Arabia’s prominent presence underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting excellence in internal auditing and strengthening professional practices across both public and private sectors. The opening ceremony will also feature the announcement of the host country for the 2027 edition of the conference, organized annually by the IIA. Saudi Arabia, represented by the Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors, is a leading contender in the competitive bidding process.
