Aseer Weather Attracts Vacationers, Boosts Tourism in Abha, Surrounding Parks

Abha, August 12, 2025, SPA -- Aseer Region continues to welcome tourists from inside the Kingdom and abroad, drawn by its mild weather and heavy rainfall that adorn its highlands and natural parks, as part of the summer tourism season "Aseer Summer… Cooler and Closer".
Roads leading to Abha, as well as the region’s governorates and centers, have seen a notable influx of visitors, especially to summer destinations such as Al-Soudah Park, Al-Habla, Al-Dabab Walkway, Sama Abha Gardens, and the heritage village of Rijal Almaa, in addition to mountain areas in Al-Namas, Tanomah, Billasmar, and Billahmar. Families have flocked to enjoy the cool temperatures the region offers at the height of summer.
Continued rainfall, accompanied by hail in some areas, has brought temperatures down to below 20 degrees Celsius in several highlands, creating a stunning natural scene where clouds mingle with mountain peaks and fog embraces vast stretches of green forest.
Security and service agencies in the region are organizing traffic and facilitating access to tourist sites by deploying traffic patrols, enhancing public transport, and preparing facilities to accommodate the growing number of visitors.
The distinctive summer climate in Aseer, combined with its breathtaking nature and diverse cultural and tourism events, makes it a favored choice for vacationers, showcasing the region’s beauty and rich heritage.
