Al-Araji Discusses Human Capacity Development And Trade Relations With The Japanese Ambassador

Baghdad / NINA /- National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji discussed with Japanese Ambassador Akira Endo the development of friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.

The Chancellery stated in a statement: "Al-Araji received the Japanese ambassador at his office today, Monday, and discussed strengthening and developing bilateral relations and the support provided by the Japanese government to the Iraqi government in the fields of consulting, human capacity development, economic development, and the development of trade relations between the two countries."

According to the statement, the two sides also reviewed developments in the security situation at the international and regional levels, and the role of the Iraqi government in investing in its relations with friendly countries to avert the specter of war in the region.

The two sides also discussed the conference scheduled to be held in New York in the second half of September to share the Iraqi experience and urge countries to withdraw their nationals from Al-Hol camp and close this file. /End
