Cabinet of Ministers approved new rules for the pension savings payment

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2025 /Kabar/. By Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated September 11, 2025 No. 578, new rules for payment of pension savings of the State Accumulative Pension Fund by the Social Fund have been approved.

Payments will be made in the following order:

1) from the moment determined by the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic - to the heirs of the deceased insured person;

2) from January 1, 2013:

- citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, foreign citizens and stateless persons who have left or are leaving for permanent residence outside the Kyrgyz Republic;

– working pensioners who have pension savings recorded in the funded portion of their personal insurance account and who have been exempt from paying insurance premiums to the State Accumulative Pension Fund since January 1, 2012;

3) since January 1, 2013, but not earlier than the date of the right to a pension under state pension social insurance – the following categories of insured persons:

- excluded from forming the funded portion of the pension since January 1, 2012: men born before January 1, 1964, and women born before January 1, 1969;

- retiring in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On State Pension Social Insurance";

- retired in accordance with the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Pension Provision for Military Personnel".

The Resolution shall enter into force upon expiry of ten days from the date of its official publication.
