GEA: Japan’s Inoue to Clash with Mexico’s Picasso at 'Ring V: Night of the Samurai'

   Riyadh, September 18, 2025, SPA -- Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation Turki Alalshikh announced that 'Ring V: Night of the Samurai' is scheduled for December 27, at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh.
   The event will showcase top boxing talents from Japan and Latin America, headlined by the highly anticipated showdown between Japanese unified super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue and Mexican contender Alan Picasso Romero.
   Inoue has held world titles across multiple weight divisions and recently defended his unified super bantamweight title with a victory over Uzbekistan’s Murodjon Akhmadaliev last weekend. On the other hand, Picasso, currently ranked first by the World Boxing Council at 122 pounds, extended his undefeated streak last July with a hard-fought majority decision win against Japan’s Kyonosuke Kameda.
   The event will also feature an exciting Japanese-Cuban showdown, with Taiga Imanaga taking on Armando Martinez in the lightweight division. Additionally, Reito Tsutsumi will face off against Mexico’s Leobardo Quintana, while Hayato Tsutsumi goes head-to-head with Britain’s James Dickens in what promises to be a hard-fought contest.
