On Behalf of Defense Minister, Vice Minister Heads Saudi Delegation to Extraordinary Session of GCC Joint Defense Council

   Doha, September 18, 2025, SPA -- On behalf of Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Vice Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf today headed the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the extraordinary session of the Joint Defense Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held in Doha.
   The meeting, attended by the defense ministers of the GCC countries and Secretary-General of the GCC Jasem Albudaiwi, addressed issues related to the Israeli aggression and the flagrant violation of Qatar's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
   They agreed to continue coordination and consultation at all military and intelligence levels to enhance Gulf defense integration. They emphasized intensifying and linking defense systems to confront risks and challenges, ensuring the security, stability, and safety of all GCC member states, and deterring any potential threats or attacks that may undermine regional stability.
