OECD Commends Saudi Arabia's Efforts in AI, Led by SDAIA

      Riyadh, September 19, 2025, SPA -- The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) praised the pioneering efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in artificial intelligence (AI). It also appreciated the work of the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) in deploying data and AI technologies and supporting the governance of their use across the Kingdom.
   The commendation came in a recent OECD report titled "AI Governance,” which highlighted Saudi Arabia's advancements in various digital technologies and initiatives aimed at digitally empowering government entities. This included the work of the national cloud computing platform, "Deem," which was developed by SDAIA.
