President Sadyr Zhaparov opens Manas Football Stadium in Kara-Suu

Bishkek, Sept. 19, 2025. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov on September 18, took part in the opening ceremony of the Manas football stadium in Kara-Suu, Osh region. Before the start of the ceremony, the head of state inspected the administrative building, the athletes' locker rooms, and the gym. The stadium was built in 1960 and was the main sports facility in the city.

"This is where our renowned football club, Zhashtyk-Ak-Altyn, was founded, and it has earned a prominent place in the history of Kyrgyz football. In 2003, the club became the champion of Kyrgyzstan and has reached the final of the national cup seven times, making the name of Kara-Suu known far beyond the region. This stadium has become a place where the dreams of local youth come true, and fans experience joy," she said.
He also emphasized that the opening of the renovated Manas Stadium can be considered the beginning of a great celebration for the entire Kara-Suu district, which will soon celebrate its 90th anniversary. After the opening ceremony, the final match of the Kyrgyz Republic Cup took place between the teams Muras United and Dordoi, which was attended by the head of state.
