Bishkek. Sept.19, 2025. /Kabar/. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) reported that investment from other EAEU countries in Kyrgyzstan has increased sharply.
According to the EEC, $61 million was invested in the country's economy in the first quarter of this year. $37 million for the same period in 2024.
Experts say that partner countries, thanks to the changing global environment, have begun paying closer attention to each other, and it became obvious that it is more profitable and easier to do business and implement projects with their closest neighbors within the framework of the preferences and mutual support offered by the Eurasian Economic Union.
If we look at the dynamics of investment from traditional partners in Kyrgyzstan, we see that it has already been growing significantly. Over the past four years, investment from EAEU countries into Kyrgyzstan has nearly tripled. In 2020, the figure stood at $89 million, and by 2024, this figure had risen to $263.6 million.
