Cash circulation exceeds 378 billion soms

Bishkek, Sept. 19, 2025 /Kabar/. Currently, the volume of cash in circulation exceeds 378 billion soms. Azat Kozubekov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, announced at a press conference at the Kabar news agency.

According to him, as of early September of this year, the volume of international reserves reached $7 billion for the first time in the history of the Kyrgyz Republic, which is equivalent to more than 5.5 months ago.

"This is an indicator of the high reliability of the Kyrgyz som and the effectiveness of international reserve management," he noted.
